A county-wide network
Infrastructure and delivery organisations from across Lincolnshire, working as one rather than apart.
Working together across Lincolnshire
A network of infrastructure and delivery organisations from across the county, working strategically and speaking with a clear, shared voice, to strengthen the relationship between voluntary and community organisations and the statutory bodies they work alongside.
About us
Involving Lincs brings together infrastructure and delivery organisations from across Lincolnshire: the organisations that support, connect and champion voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise groups across the county.
Rather than working apart, we work together. We plan strategically, and we speak with a clear, shared voice among the many in the county.Infrastructure and delivery organisations from across Lincolnshire, working as one rather than apart.
Looking beyond individual projects to what the whole sector needs, and saying it with one clear voice.
Building trust and influence between the sector and the statutory bodies it works alongside.
The Strength and Leadership Programme is how the ambition of Involving Lincs is put into practice. It strengthens the sector’s ability to lead, collaborate and influence, at a time when pressure on public services is growing and more is being asked of community organisations.
The programme works on two fronts at once. It helps organisations become more resilient, better evidenced and more sustainable, and it helps the people who lead them build the skills, confidence and connections to take on what comes next. Strong organisations and strong leadership. That is where the programme gets its name.
What the programme does
Understanding the difference Involving Lincs members make, and the community needs they meet, through State of the Sector research and members’ work across places and themes.
Building resilience through trading, new income and a Lincolnshire approach to commissioning, so organisations can plan beyond a single grant.
Strengthening the impact of leadership across the system, helping VCFSE leaders operate at strategic and place level, and shaping the next generation of community leadership.
Increasing the sector’s influence and involvement in strategy, and connecting organisations through effective networks, so the sector acts together and is heard where decisions are made.
Who the work is for
Involving Lincs is made up of infrastructure and delivery organisations, but the work is for the wider sector we represent: community organisations of every size and kind, county-wide.
Built on evidence
Our work is shaped by what organisations across Lincolnshire actually tell us, through our State of the Sector research and ongoing conversations with groups on the ground. That evidence guides where support goes, and how we show the value the sector creates.
